May Events - Wednesday Urban Trail Runs | Leavenworth Rockfest

We are stoked to be partnering with THE hub for endurance coaching, Cascade Endurance. Their philosophy is centered on building a community with likeminded enthusiasts helping you achieve whatever your fitness goal may be. 

So, avoid those long solitary miles by yourself & join Sam & Alison Naney of Cascade Endurance for a weekly urban trail run, starting Wednesday, May 4th from 6:00-7:00 beginning and finishing at Second Ascent. Runs will head to Discovery Park. Shorter options are available as well, but everyone is encouraged to partake in brews at NW Peaks Brewery afterward, for a special on pints; everyone's favorite recovery drink. 

The 17th annual Leavenworth Rockfest, a fundraiser for the American Alpine Club & Leavenworth Mountain Association is happening May 7-8. Join the Der Klettergarten bouldering competition or a clinic, eat delicious food and drink some cold brews from Icicle Creek Brewery, hang out for a slideshow by local  guidebook author Kelly Sheridan, camp out in Fromm's Field Saturday Night & wake up to a pancake breakfast Sunday morning.

Be sure to drop by the Second Ascent booth Saturday morning in the Forestland's parking lot as we will have a fleet of Scarpa Shoes to test out & demo.
